Slobozia, Moldova

Slobozia (Russian: Slobodzya) is a city in the Republic of Moldova which is the seat of the Administrative Region of Slobozia of Transnistria.
Slobozia is located at Tiraspol. It had a population of 19,000 at the census in 1989. The population of the city is mostly made up of ethnic Moldovans, while Russians and Ukrainians are important minorities.
