[edit] Business Model

Sleep-Tech primarily sells mattresses more specifically Memory Foam, Air Beds, Latex and Adjustable Beds. They also sell Memory Foam pillows as well as toppers. Each store carries a minimum of four mattresses as well as a pillow display and Bed Covers.

[edit] Company Brands

Sleep-Tech carries several brands of mattresses all from suppliers in the Continental United States. Providers such as Englander, ComfortAire and Craft-Matic. Various styles of beds differ from store to store.

Memory Foam beds were derived from the technology created by NASA for usage in Outer Space. Just recently in the 2000's have mattress manufactures been producing these beds. Memory Foam conforms to the bodies shape and often times are Adjustable, being able to elevate the lower section of the bed and the upper section of the bed. This applies for most US manufactured mattresses. However the downside to a memory foam bed is the fact that flat memory foam surfaces will often trap moisture on the surface of the bed which can make it hot, hence making it undesirable too many. Hence the company Englander created "Surface modified" foam, allows for airflow throughout the surface of the mattress and helps to keep the body cool, this feature is mostly used in markets with year round warm temperatures. Just recently Sleep-Tech began to Carry "Surface Modified" mattresses. Surface modified memory foam also provides more support in the lumbar region. The lumbar region is the heaviest part of human bodies and requires the most support. The surface modified memory foam keeps your lower back aligned with the rest of your body. Latex Mattresses are also made of 100% Dunlap as well as Dust-Mite Resistant.
