Sleep Inn
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Sleep Inn is one of the largest all-new construction, budget/mid-priced, limited service chains in America. Started by Choice Hotels International in 1989, Sleep Inn hotels are designed to combine minimized construction costs with strong leisure travel appeal inherent in the economy segment with the higher average daily rates, balanced business/leisure mix and new construction product represented in the midscale segment. The brand prototype has been reengineered to reduced development costs while maintaining a high guest satisfaction rate. Each Sleep Inn hotel offers upscale, state-of-the art features, with a totally consistent contemporary design aimed at value-minded business and leisure travelers. Every hotel has a curved shower in each room, an oversized work area with bright lighting and telephone with dataport, free high-speed internet access, free local calls, continental breakfast, and free newspaper. Sleep Inns are usually two or three story hotels with interior corridors, have a pool and exercise facility, and a breakfast room. At this time (August 2006), there are 322 Sleep Inns currently open in the United States and 115 hotels under development. Internationally, there are 20 hotels currently open and 1 under development.
