Sledging (bodyboarding)

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Sledging is a mix between white water rafting and bodyboarding. Sledgers attempt to traverse white water rapids on a small bodyboard (sledge) made out of foam or plastic.

Several companies run sledging excursions in New Zealand near Queenstown, Wanaka, and Rotorua.

Sledging is also known as hydro speed or riverboarding.
