Slant (journal)

Slant was the name of a Catholic journal associated with Cambridge University and the Dominicans during the 1960s, and of the group associated with this journal. It sought to combine Catholic belief with left-wing politics, and was influenced by the thought of Wittgenstein and Marx. Influential members included Terry Eagleton and Herbert McCabe. Denys Turner is a significant theologian influenced by Slant.
