Sladest is a compilation album by the British glam/hard rock group Slade. It was released on September 28, 1973, and went straight to No. 1 on the charts. It would hang around the Top 10 till 1974, when it climbed to the #1 spot once again, due to the huge success of 'Merry Xmas Everybody'
