Skyy (band)

Skyy was a R&B/funk/disco band based out of New York City. Formed by producer/keyboardist Randy Muller, Skyy's original lineup also featured Denise, Delores, and Bonny Dunning as vocalists, with guitarists Solomon Roberts and Anibal Anthony Sierra, keyboardist Larry Greenberg, bassist Gerald Lebon, and drummer Tommy McConnell.
Forming in the late 1970s, Skyy recorded for Salsoul Records until 1984. They group earned several top-ten hits on the U.S. R&B chart, including "Call Me" and "Real Love", both of which hit number one. "Call Me" also became Skyy's biggest pop hit, reaching number twenty-six on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 in 1983.
Founder Randy Muller was also a member of disco group Brass Construction, and did arranging work for B.T. Express.
