Skyway (Buffalo)

The Skyway is a portion of New York State Route 5 in Buffalo, New York.
It runs from the south terminus of South Elmwood Avenue at Interstate 190 (New York) (behind Buffalo City Hall) as an elevated road to Fuhrmann Boulevard and South Michigan Avenue. The road returns to grade and ends south of Ridge Road in Lackawanna (the route becomes the Hamburg Turnpike).
There are 51 full and partial entrances/exits onto the expressway.
The expressway passes by:
- HSBC Arena - home of the Buffalo Sabres
- Buffalo and Erie Naval Park
- Dunn Tire Park - home of the Buffalo Bisons
