Family members do not earn miles themselves but are really just 'donating' their miles to the main family member.
[edit] SkySurfers
Skywards SkySurfers programme is for frequent flyers of Emirates and Sri Lankan for children aged 2 to 15. Members get different child friendly membership cards. Earning and redeeming is exactly the same and SkySurfers face same restrictions and can also receive 'Silver' and 'Gold' status by reaching the same mile qualifications as normal members.
