The Skyscrapers were a professional wrestling tag team in World Championship Wrestling in 1989 and 1990. WCW was still under the banner of Jim Crockett Promotions' NWA at the time they were active.
[edit] History
The Skyscrapers were formed by manager Theodore Long in September 1989 with wrestlers Sid Vicious and Dan Spivey. They feuded with the Road Warriors and were able to match them in size and power. Sid suffered a punctured lung that caused it to collapse at Clash of Champions 9 in a match against Rick & Scott Steiner. Long replaced him with "Mean" Mark Callous and continued the feud.
The new version only lasted until the end of February 1990 when Spivey left the promotion and Callous was made a singles wrestler.
