Skylink Airways

Skylink Airways is an airline based in Dulles, Virginia, USA. It plans to establish low-cost scheduled transatlantic services from Baltimore-Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport. [1]

The airline plans to open an initial scheduled route from Baltimore to London Stansted Airport in April 2005. It is owned by Joshua Marks (President) (50%) and Kenneth Carlson (Chief Executive) (50%). [1] SkyLink Airways is promoting itself as the first low-fare, high value airline dedicated to long-haul international service, intending to combine up-market amenities with simple, low fares. [2]

Apart from London Stansted, SkyLink has identified its other potential destinations as Aruba, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Chile, Costa Rica, Czech Republic, Dominican Republic, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Slovakia and Taiwan. [2]
