Skyline Drive (South Dakota)

Skyline Drive scenic two-lane blacktop road in Rapid City, South Dakota, USA. One end begins at Quincy street and the other at Tower Road. Of note along the way is Dinosaur Park. This setting of several life size concrete dinosaurs was built in 1936 by the WPA. Also of note is Hangman Hill, purported to be the site of an application of frontier justice dealt to a horse thief around the turn of the 20th century. Once favored haunt of teenage revelers, it has since been fenced off by the owner.
