aka Skultuna Messingsbruk
Founded in 1607 at the bequest of King Karl IX to begin a brassworks within Sweden.
Located in Skultuna on the outskirts of Västerås, the site was choosen due to water power of the Svartån brook, availability of tranportation and proximity to Falun copper mines.
