Skull Ring

Skull Ring is a 2003 album by Iggy Pop, with backing collaborations by popular bands, including The Stooges, The Trolls, Green Day, Sum 41, and Peaches.

This is the first time after 1973 and "Raw power" that the original Stooges line was reunited. After two uninspired records, "Avenue B" and "Beat 'em up", and with the help of notable guests Iggy came back with great record.

Green Day paid respect to Godfather of punk with 2 songs ( "Supermarket" and "Private hell" )

Sum 41 joined Iggy on the first single "Little know it all" which reached number 35 on Modern rock tracks and two videos were made for the song.

4 songs done with "Stooges" plus collaboration with "Green Day" and "Sum 41" are the best moments of album.

After the album Iggy went on successfull tour with the "Stooges" and new "Stooges album is soppossed to come out in early 2007.
