SkullMeramon was first seen as one of Myotismon's henchmen who was searching for the eighth child. He was disguised in his hat and trenchcoat before he encountered Sora and Mimi at the top of Tokyo Tower. Birdramon and Togemon tried their best to stop him before Tai, Greymon, Izzy and Kabuterimon arrived. The battle ended when Greymon Digivolved to MetalGreymon and destroyed him.

A SkullMeramon in hat and trenchcoat (the same outfit from Season One) was among the shadowed Digimon that wanted Rika to tame one of them. Another one was among the many Digimon seen through the rip in the sky during Vikaralamon's rampage.
