[edit] Work in progress: {{MEast-hist-stub}} or {{islam-hist-stub}}

A temporary list of candidates for Middle Eastern and Central Asian history stub {{MEast-hist-stub}} or Islamic history stub {{islam-hist-stub}}. Potential problems: The dividing line between Roman, Byzantine, and Middle Eastern history for the eastern Mediterranean. Also, it excludes historically connected states/dynasties such as the Moors in Iberia or the Mughals in South Asia. On the other hand, Islamic history would potentially group together events in places as different as Morocco, Indonesia, Bosnia, and Tanzania, while simultaneously excluding a lot of pre-Islamic history in the Middle East.
