Skoda Xanthi FC is the Greek football club from the town of Xanthi. The club was known as AO Xanthi until 1991.

The club was formed in 1967 from the mergers of the two clubs, Aspida and Orfeas. The name of the team was A.O.X. officially up to 1992. Xanthi FC first played in the first division in 1989. In 1991 Viamar S.A., the official importer of Skoda vehicles bought Xanthi FC and renamed the club Skoda Xanthi FC.

The club is one of the best in Greece, especially in terms of their financial support and youth setup. Skoda Xanthi participated in the UEFA Cup in 2001, 2005, and 2006. In the 2004-05 season, Skoda Xanthi finished fourth in the greek Super League, the club's best performance in many years.
