Talk:Skips (snack)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Is anyone aware of the four distinct flavours of Skips that were available somewhere between late 80s and early 90s? An advertising campaign at the time used the four individual quarters of a skip (the snack is naturally divided into quarters by the pattern on its surface) to represent four unique flavours. The advertisement presented a skip that appeared to have four colonies of tiny people living in the four quarters of the snack - each group was a stereotype that was culturally tied to a specific flavour. One quarter of the Skip was populated by ninjas who, if memory serves, represented some form of spicy/oriental flavouring.
It would be nice to hear one person say they remember also. A little validation is all I ask :)
