Skirlaugh

Skirlaugh is a village in the East Riding of Yorkshire, in an area known as Holderness approximately 8 miles North East of Hull.
The parish church, St. Augustine's Church, was built by Walter de Skirlaw who would later become the Bishop of Durham in the late 14th Century.
