Skierniewice County (Polish: powiat skierniewicki ) is a powiat (county) in Poland, in Łódź Voivodeship. The county seat is the town of Skierniewice and the powiat contains the area around it, but not the city itself which forms its own separate urban powiat. The population numbers 37,948 (2005). Its area is 756,12 km².
