Skidaway Island State Park
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Skidaway Island State Park is a 588 acre (2.38 km2) Georgia state park located near Savannah. The park is founded on Skidaway Island, a barrier island, and borders Skidaway Straights, part of the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway. Two nature trails in the park wind through marshes, forests, and sand dunes, allowing visitors to view animals such as deer, raccoons, and fiddler crabs. Additional observation towers give visitors an even greater view of the park's flora and fauna.
