I have a Ph.D. and M.A. in History, and a B.A. in English, and I work as a professional historian and curator in a private archives. I have published two books about south Louisiana history, and I am working on two more books at present.

My primary interests on Wikipedia tend to relate directly or indirectly to south Louisiana, although I enjoy editing any articles that could use improvement.
