Skatepark of Tampa

Skatepark of Tampa is a world-famous skatepark in Tampa, Florida, USA, sometimes abbreviated the SPoT. It is well-known for its annual Tampa Am and Tampa Pro competitions. It is also known as a musical venue.

On December 28, 1992, SPoT first opened to employees only and on January 2, 1993 the park officially opened to the public.

Skatepark of Tampa is owned by Brian Schaefer and the General Manager is Ryan Clements.

SPoT plays a major part of the Tony Hawk's Underground video game with many SPoT employees featured as competitors in the street and vertical contests.

Skatepark of Tampa is located at 4215 East Columbus Avenue.

The skatepark includes a "pro course", which offers a pyramid and many difficult rails. Outside, there is a full size vert ramp, and mini ramp with spine. The "beginner's course" features many smaller rails and ramps to expand skateboarding skills, and also includes the famous bowl.
