Skank are a band from Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais in Brazil. Their successes are among “É Proibido Fumar”, “Te Ver”, “É uma Partida de Futebol” and “Garota Nacional”

The band made a relatively huge success with its first album, Skank, in 1993, in the underground circuit. Some months later, with a contract with Sony in their hands, they finally officially released the album, which sold 150.000 records.
So far, the band released other 6 albums:
