SJphone

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

SJphone is a VoIP soft phone by SJ Labs, Inc. It allows you to speak with any other soft phones running on a PC, PDA, any stand-alone IP-phone, or using ITSP (Internet Telephony Service Provider) with any traditional wired or mobile phone. It supports both the SIP and H.323 standard sets, NAT traversal, and works with most major ITSP like Vonage, and IP-PBX and VoIP gateway vendors. SJphone is available for personal computers with MS Windows, MAC OS X and Linux. SJphone CE works on most wireless PDAs or communicators like HP Ipaq, Fujitsu-Siemens PocketLOOX, Symbol, Intermec, and many others.

Attention: Having SJphone installed is not enough to talk to old good telephones. You have to purchase a VoIP service from any ITSP like FreeWorldDialup or install your own VoIP-PBX gateway.

A free version of SJphone is available from the the SJ Labs website.
