Sixways Stadium

Sixways Stadium is a multi-use stadium in Worcester, England. It is currently used mostly for rugby union matches and is the home stadium of Worcester Rugby. The stadium is able to hold 9,726. It opened in 1975 and is located next to the M5 motorway.
During the summer of 2006, an additional 321 seats were installed during the summer. On the 21st of September, 2006, a £23 million program of investment in Sixways was approved by Wychavon District Council.
The plan includes a new North Stand to increase capacity to 13,200, an Esporta health centre with swimming pools and racquet club, a park and ride scheme and new replacement training pitches. A new entrance to the complex off Pershore Lane to ease match-day congestion.
