In the fictional Star Wars universe, the Sith Infiltrator is a small craft used by the Sith apprentice Darth Maul in Star Wars Episode I. He dubbed his vessel the Scimitar. While its missile launchers and dual laser cannons are deadly in their own right, the Infiltrator is also equipped with a highly sophisticated stygium crystal-based cloaking system, with which it can traverse systems undetected. The Infiltrator also made occasional appearances in the Expanded Universe.

[edit] Expanded Universe appearances
The Sith Infiltrator featured in the Expanded Universe during the Trade Federation blockade of Naboo. It appeared in at least two games based on Episode I.
[edit] Star Wars: Battle for Naboo
Despite Darth Maul's status as a major character in the movie, he and his ship never normally appear in Battle for Naboo. Instead, it appears in the second and last of three bonus missions that are unlocked at the end of the game based on the type of medal the player received in each mission. The second bonus mission puts Lt. Gavyn Sykes in Coruscant, where he is on a mission to stop the Sith Infiltrator from escaping the planet.
The third of the three bonus mission allows the player to actually pilot the Infiltrator as Darth Maul. The player has to first protect a squadron of AATs from being destroyed by enemy armed speeders. Once all the speeders are destroyed, the player has to fly to a swamp very close by, and defend Trade Federation boats from aerial attacks by N-1 starfighters and police fighters.
The Sith Infiltrator could also be unlocked for normal use if the player entered the cheat code SIENAR&!. Once entered, the Infiltrator could be flown in any level where the Naboo Starfighter could be selected.
[edit] Star Wars: Starfighter
The Sith Infiltrator plays a still small, yet some-what larger role, in Star Wars: Starfighter. It appears three times in the bonus mission "Serious Swarm", where it is technically the first craft seen. If the player manages to destroy a freighter when the triad of missile freighters arrive, the Infiltrator is seen escaping it. However, it quickly enters hyperspace. When the large gun platform at the end of the mission is destroyed, the Infiltrator appears yet again.
There are also three unlockable ships in Starfighter, which are unlocked by scoring a specific medal on each mission in the game. If a gold medal is achieved on every mission of the game, the Sith Infiltrator becomes available to play as in any mission. Its lasers are more powerful than any other starfighter in the game, and its missile launchers are also very powerful.
