Sitakili

Sitakili is a town in Mali's Kayes Region, in the cercle of Kéniéba. It is the capital city of its commune.

On 12 November 2005, a new gold mine opened in the commune of Sitakili in the village of Loulo. The mine's production is projected to be 7,000 tons per year, making it one of the largest on the African continent.
