Sistrurus ravus is a venomous rattlesnake species, commonly known as the Mexican pigmy rattlesnake. It is found only in Mexico and includes two other subspecies besides the nomiotype, S. m. ravus, described here. This subspecies is also referred to as the central Mexican pigmy rattlesnake.
