Hi I am new to Wiki and unfamiliar with its' ways and conventions. I posted a user page simply to let other users knoe who I am and where my views come from. When I tried to find it again I found it in Wictionary instead of Wikipedia. I have no clue how it migrated or why it migrated except I may hve posted it there with out being aware myself. In creating this page I followed the format used by others who have such pages. Meghawarna

[edit] Pol Pot of Tamil Eelam
I'm interested to know why you have just copied the text from Velupillai Prabhakaran and created a page at Pol Pot of Tamil Eelam. Evil Monkey → Talk 23:20, Jan 23, 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Reply to your email
I don't even pretend to know anything about this topic, I just came across the article while clicking on Random Page. Wikipedia doesn't like the idea of forks of articles as you have done with Velupillai Prabhakaran by creating Pol Pot of Tamil Eelam. You should take this up on the article's talk page and discussing it with user:Rrjanbiah who appears to be the person who removed your last set of changes. If you really feel that your views are not being heard and your changes reverted for no good reason check out Wikipedia:Dispute resolution and Wikipedia:Requests for comment. [edit] Monotheism
Please review Wikipedia:NPOV and Wikipedia:Original research. Wikipedia content has to follow Wikipedia policy. Jayjg | (Talk) 19:58, 26 Jan 2005 (UTC)
Please review the policies again; this is not about me, it is about NPOV and original research. Jayjg | (Talk) 20:37, 26 Jan 2005 (UTC)
I'm not interested in convincing you of anything, except that you should follow the Wikipedia:NPOV and Wikipedia:Original research policies. Please read them again and again until you understand them, and only then attempt editing. Jayjg | (Talk) 21:00, 26 Jan 2005 (UTC)
You should try your own medicine. UserSirimewan.
Everyone should follow these policies on Wikipedia. Jayjg | (Talk) 21:51, 26 Jan 2005 (UTC)
Could you please specify where I fall foul of Wikipedia rules? User:Sirimewan
It's been explained here and on the relevant Talk: page quite clearly. You can't make up your own arguments on Wikipedia, you have to quote someone else's arguments. What you have produced is "original research". I've asked you many questions on the relevant Talk: page which point out the problems with your edit, and you have answered none of them. I came across your question in the Monotheism talk page while returning to Wikipedia and looking at what little I had done. Here was your question:
"Could someone explain to me how an all powerful god who is benevolent can allow a Devil / Satan to operate? If god is all powerful he should have eliminated Satan before Satan could create any mischief."
This is a non_sequitur, because it doesn't follow that God should eliminate Satan from the premise that He's omnipotent. Just because someone has an ability to do something doesn't at all mean that he/she should do it.
"it is not logical to call your selves monotheists and at the same time believe in a Satan."
In the absense of contradictions, belief in God and Satan is logically consistent.
"But most monotheists when confronted with the epicurian question resort to a devil. I am waiting to be converted. Please explain to me where eveil comes from in a universe presided over by an all-powerful God."
I would say that most theists use free will, and theorize that God humans with free will, and therefore the capacity to commit evil acts, and they did. Btboy500
[edit] RE:Your link to Salma
For signature, I think, your preference setting is messed up. For me, it is Preference->Your nickname (for signatures): <empty> and Preference -> Raw signatures (without automatic link) <unchecked>
I appreciate your interest in Salma's work. But, I don't know, any of her work in English. I think, her new work is about to be published in other languages too.
Personally, I think, she actually meant vagina/vulva by "yoni". I don't think that it's not an erotic. Her work in India Today was titled "kamathupal" (orginal Tirukkural meaning "Chapter of/about Love") in the context meaning "milk of desire". In one of her interview, she said that she watched a sex movie in the theatre; but was humiliated by her family. And asks why such a hypocritical discrimination for women. --Rrjanbiah 20:59, 27 Jan 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Velupillai Prabhakaran
Personally, I don't agree with your text at Talk:Velupillai Prabhakaran#Prabakharan_The_Freedom_Fighter_and_Terrorist. Yet, I didn't come across any Tamil civilians who complain Prabhakaran either--all of them strongly justify killing of Rajiv, etc. Especially, I see even the Tamil Muslims who were called opportunists/anti-LTTE by some media are even pro-LTTE. I do agree that the Tamil people have bad example at hand, as for them gun is the one which achieves. The point that it's not racial is quite new and surprising. And I don't think, the content even fit there as we have separate pages for Tamil Tigers and Ethnic conflict in Sri Lanka.
I don't think, we can agree each other in this topic. So, it is better we don't discuss this topic further. Being a Secular humanist, if you could find any means of peace, I'll always welcome that effort. --Rrjanbiah 19:29, 30 Jan 2005 (UTC)
