Prof. Siri Gunasinghe (born 1925) is a premier poet,novelist who also designed costumes for prof.Ediriweera Sarachchandra's "Maname".He also made critically acclaimed movie "Sathsamudura".He taught at University of Peradeniya ,Sri Lanka and University of Victoria ,British Columbia,Canada.He is considered a pioneer book cover designer in Sri Lanka and has also hosted several radio programmes.
