Sir John Lubbock, 1st Baronet

Sir John Lubbock, 1st Baronet (20 August 1744 – 24 February 1816) was an eminent English banker. He was made a baronet in 1806.
He was Chairman of the family bank, Lubbock & Company. He married Elizabeth Christiana Commerell and he was succeeded by his nephew, upon his death.
He was Member of Parliament for the rotten borough of Bossiney in Cornwall from 1796 to 1802.
