User:Sinc

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

sinc(x) = \left\{\begin{matrix} 1 & \mbox{if }x=0 \\ \frac{sin(x)}{x} & \mbox{otherwise} \end{matrix}\right.

This is a beautiful function that appears often in Fourier Theory and Signal Processing.

I grew up in Taiwan and am now a graduate student at the University of Washington, Seattle. I am planning to write about the various topics that I study (e.g. computer science, statistics, and electrical engineering). I also have a personal interest in Taiwan issues, Chinese history, and Japanese history, etc.
