The Sixth Day: Single Collection is the title of Japanese rocker/singer Gackt's fifth album. It was released in 2004. Near the end of 2003, around the release of Crescent, Gackt announced that a greatest hits record would be released. It was not until the end of January the following year that it was confirmed that not only would there be a greatest hits record, but that Gackt had gone into the studio to re-record nearly all of his songs. Some are simply slightly different mixes of the song, like "Lu:na" or "Last Song", while others contained re-recorded vocal tracks and instruments; the most radical being "Mizérable", where nearly the entire music was re-arranged for a more spacey feel. The Sixth Day's sister album is The Seventh Night: Unplugged.
