Talk:Sintra
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
"Sintra is unique in the concelhos of Portugal in having the municipality seat in a town, despite having 2 cities in the municipality (Agualva-Cacém and Queluz)."
- this is biased. City status does not mean much after 1974, almost every neighbourhood around big cities can obtain that status. No one doubts that Sintra is a town because it does want to be a town, it prefers that status, possibily a publicity stunt, and is more important than that bedroom communities that are called cities inappropriately. --Pedro 11:20, 12 October 2006 (UTC)
