Sinshih (Chinese: 新市; pinyin: Xīnshì; Wade-Giles: Hsin-shih; literally 'Newmarket') is a rural township in central Tainan County, Taiwan Province of the Republic of China. Its historical name was Sinckan (新港, Singang, literally 'Newport') and shares the same namesake as the Sinckan language and Sinckan Manuscripts.

Part of Tainan Science Park, which was founded in 1996, lies within Sinshih.
