[edit] Plot
Allison 'Allie' Jones (Bridget Fonda) places an ad in the press for a 'Single White Female' like herself as a flatmate.
Along comes a seemingly perfect flatmate, Hedra 'Hedy' Carlson (Jennifer Jason Leigh). However, soon enough, thing start to get weird. Hedra begins to mimic Allie's character and appearance (she cuts and dyes her hair to resemble her, and starts wearing her clothing) and even seduces and later kills Allie's boyfriend by striking him in the face with one of her stillettos which penetrates his brain through his eye socket.
The film was followed by a completely unrelated direct to video sequel in 2005.
