Singapore Press Holdings Limited (SPH) is a Singapore-based publisher of newspapers and magazines. It prints The Straits Times, Lianhe Zaobao, and Berita Harian, among others; in fact, SPH prints all daily newspapers in Singapore except Today. The company employs 1,000 journalists, including correspondents in 16 overseas offices. The company also actively invite students from various high schools in Singapore to write school articles for their papers. Such papers include every Monday's issue of The Straits Times's IN, Wednesday's issues of Lianhe Zaobao zbNOW Popcorn and Friday Weekly. It also owns Unionworks, a 70%-owned joint venture with NTUC Media. Unionworks owns 2 radio stations, FM1003 and FM913. It also owns an online lifestyle portal called AsiaOne

SPH is partially owned by Temasek Holdings, the Singapore government's wholly owned investment arm, although the exact share is not made public. Shares in SPH are regulated by the Newspaper and Printing Presses Act of 1974, which requires all newspapers to be publicly listed into both ordinary and management shares, with management shares having 200 times the voting rights of ordinary shares and approval from the Ministry of Information, Communications and The Arts needed for any management share transfers.
