Singapore Fireworks Festival
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Singapore Fireworks Festival is an annual event held in Singapore as part of its National Day celebrations. First held in 2004 at Marina Bay, it features three to four local or foreign teams per event who launch a fireworks display on different nights. While currently non-competitive in nature, the organisers, Unusual Productions Pte Ltd has plans to introduce a competition element in subsequent years.
The annual festival has grown in magnitude over the past three years, from 4,000 rounds used in 2004, 6,000 in 2005, to over 9,000 in 2006.
