- Sinbad the Sailor (sometimes spelled Sindbad) refers to the fictional figure from 1001 Nights.
- Sinbad (actor) is also the name of an American stand-up comedian/actor.
- Sunpadh was a Zoroastrian cleric who led rebellions against the Abbasids. His name is often translated as Sinbad.
- "Sinbad the Sailor" is an alias used by Edmond Dantes in the novel The Count of Monte Cristo.
