The Sinatra-Jobim Sessions is a 1979 compilation album of the American singer Frank Sinatras work with Antonio Carlos Jobim.
This double LP album, was published only in Brazil by producer Roberto Quartin, and has never been released before either on vinyl or CD. It contains all the songs played during the recording sessions between Sinatra and Jobim, all but three previously released on the albums Francis Albert Sinatra & Antonio Carlos Jobim (1967) and Sinatra & Company (1970).
The tracks "Bonita" and "Sabiá", were not included in any of the two previous records featuring Sinatra and Jobim, but were released on the 8 track Sinatra-Jobim, which was quickly pulled from release [1]. The inclusion of the tracks on this album make this collection eagerly sought by Sinatra collectors. The final session track, "Off Key (Desafinado)", remained unreleased until The Complete Reprise Studio Recordings was put out in 1998.
Sinatra and Jobim worked together for a final time on Duets II, in 1994.
