The
Multiquai promo
CD, a part of this album's promotion
High Times: Singles 1992-2006 is a collection of Jamiroquai's past hits, and includes two new songs: "Runaway," and "Radio." Most of the band's best known songs are included, with two notable exceptions: "King For A Day" and "You Give Me Something," although a remix of the latter appears on CD2 of the Special Edition release. Upon release, the album reached the top of the BBC Radio 1 albums chart [1]
[edit] Promotion
Jason Kay, the lead singer of the band stepped out onto the streets by himself to promote the new album.
High Times: Singles received relatively heavy promotion for a "Greatest hits" album. Posters promoting the album were found in some cities [2], and very many promotional performances were also held, most notable one being the London Jazz Cafe performance, which is notable for being the first Jamiroquai perfomance in the last few years that included wind instruments. The album was also heavily promoted via the internet, most notably via Yahoo! Answers [3], and a competition to win an MP3 player that contains the new album.
