I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. [edit] No autobiography please

Please don't post autobiography - if you want to talk about yourself, that information can be on your user page User:SimonPeter Brian 18:31, 16 July 2006 (UTC)btball

I have moved the article Simon Peter Hughes to your user page. This happened because the article seems to be about a person or group of persons but it does not indicate how or why that person or group is notable. If you can indicate why the subject is really notable, you are free to re-create the article, making sure to cite any verifiable sources. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. You might also want to read our criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 7 under Articles. -- JLaTondre 12:57, 6 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Stop reverting without discussing

You have made several edits to the Big Brother UK nominations tables. They have been reverted, and edit summaries advising you to discuss any major changes have been left. Against this advice, you are still changing the tables to how they were before. If you do not like the tables as they are now, please discuss it on the relevant talk pages. If you continue to revert the tables back to as they originally were without attempting to discuss the situation, this will be interpreted as either vandalism or disrupting Wikipedia to make a WP:POINT, both of which are blockable offences. Please consider taking this advice. --JD[don't talk|email] 14:59, 7 August 2006 (UTC)

Please refrain from undoing other people's edits repeatedly. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia under the three-revert rule, which states that nobody may revert a single page more than three times in 24 hours. (Note: this also means editing the page to reinsert an old edit. If the effect of your actions is to revert back, it qualifies as a revert.) Thank you. -- AnemoneProjectors (talk) 22:35, 7 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Please sign your comments

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also push the signature button Image:Wikisigbutton.png located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --JD don't talk email me 13:19, 10 August 2006 (UTC)

Another reminder - please sign your comments with four ~ so people know who wrote the comment. Thanks. --Alex9891 13:52, 10 August 2006 (UTC)

Please sign your comments, it isn't that difficult. There's a button you can click if typing four tildes is too bothersome. --JD don't talk email me 14:44, 10 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Reverting reverted edits

If your edits are reverted, please consider asking why they were reverted on the talk page of the article. If you revert an edit more than three times in a day, you could be blocked for breach of the three revert rule. talk to JD wants e-mail 18:06, 28 August 2006 (UTC)

You are in danger of violating the three revert rule. Please cease further reverts or you may be blocked from further editing. — FireFox (talk) 18:12, 28 August 2006

You have been temporarily blocked for violation of the three-revert rule. Please feel free to return after the block expires, but also please make an effort to discuss your changes further in the future.

If you want to change how the housemates are ordered on Big Brother articles, you need to discuss any changes on the talk pages - the decision to order housemates by eviction was not just done for the sake of doing it. Try discussing it on the Big Brother WikiProject's talk page. J Ditalk 14:49, 2 September 2006 (UTC)
