I like it. I suggest that, for the sake of tidiness, we peel off only the last year left, ie start with 2004 in New Zealand, then create 2003 in New Zealand only when either it or 2002 in New Zealand will already be a decent size.

Leave full links at the main page, of course.

Alternatively, just extract DECADES at first, eg New Zealand in the 1990s.

Regarding decades, each page is still going to be fairly long and eventually we will have to break them up into seperate years. However it might take quite a long time for some years to be big enough to justify splitting. If we do do it by decades do you think we should (a) stack each year and section one on top of each other (ie we would have 10 "deaths" sections) or (b) have a "births",""deaths" etc section for the entire decade? . I'd incline towards (a) not least because it would be easier to split things up later. SimonLyall 10:43, 13 Sep 2004 (UTC)
