Simone Thurtell

Simone Thurtell is a sports presenter and commentator for the Australian Broadcasting Corporation's ABC Local Radio Grandstand programme and is based in Sydney.
She shares the hosting of the summer Grandstand program with Peter Walsh and is also the ABC's around the ground reporter during international cricket matches played at the SCG.
Listeners can also hear her calling international netball test matches and she called the Gold medal netball match at the 2006 Commonwealth Games. She matriculated from Santa Sabina College.
