Simon Raymonde (born Simon Philip Raymonde, on 3 April 1962, in Tottenham, London) is an English musician and producer, most notable as the bassist of Cocteau Twins.

Raymonde joined Cocteau Twins in 1984, filling the void left by departed bassist Will Heggie. He remained in the band until its dissolution in 1998.

Raymonde became a solo artist with the album Blame Someone Else in 1997. On that LP, the track "Muscle & Want" was written by long-time fan and Cocteau Twins guru, Leesa Beales, and featured both Elizabeth Fraser and Robin Guthrie of Cocteau Twins as guest performers. A video for the song was also directed by Leesa Beales.

Currently he runs the label Bella Union and has signed such previously unknown acts as The Dears, Laura Veirs, and Explosions in the Sky.

Raymonde has produced many records. These include Clearlake's Cedars on Domino Records, as well as James Yorkston's Moving Up Country also on Domino; Duke Spirit's Cuts Across The Land and The Open's Silent Hours both on Loog/Universal.

In 2006, Simon Raymonde produced a new album from London based band Helene which will be out in June, mixed the forthcoming Fionn Regan album, mixed tracks for Howling Bells, and is working on a forthcoming solo record and a film soundtrack.

He also manages the Domino band Archie Bronson Outfit. He is son of composer/arranger Ivor Raymonde.
