Simon Pouplin

Simon Pouplin (born on May 28, 1985 in Cholet, Maine-et-Loire, Pays de la Loire, France) is a French soccer player, currently on the books at Stade Rennais. He is currently first-choice goalkeeper at Rennes, after the departure of Swedish international Andreas Isaksson. In 2005, Pouplin signed his first professional contract with the club, signing up with the Breton club for three years. He made his debut in the 2003/4 Ligue 1 season.
