Simon McCoy (born October 7, 1961) is a journalist and newsreader for the BBC, working mainly for the rolling news channel BBC News 24.

Simon presented many of Sky News' flagship programmes as well as spending a spell as Royal Correspondent, before joining the BBC in January 2005. He worked on BBC News 24, as well as regular presenting stints on BBC Breakfast until early 2006.

He is now a regular presenter on BBC News 24, presenting weekday mornings alongside Kate Silverton or Carrie Gracie. He also reads the weekend bulletins on BBC One from time to time.
