Simon Binks is an Australian rock guitarist who is best known for his work with band Australian Crawl during the late seventies and early eighties. He co-founded the band was James Reyne in 1978. Recently he successfully sued a North Sydney Local Council for damages after a car accident that left him with slight brain damage. He also sued co-founder James Reyne after claiming to have written "The Boys Light Up", one of Australian Crawl's biggest hits.

I was not pissed. I'd had 4 drinks, but the solicitor who ran the .05 hearing, while I was a basket case, failed to notice that MY NAME WAS NOT ON THE HOSPITAL RECORD. Cost me $600,000. Thank you very much.

James wrote Boys Light Up. I just wrote the musical theme.
