Simon is a 2004 Dutch drama film directed by Eddy Terstall. The story is about two friends, one heterosexual and one gay person. Same sex marriage and euthanasia are themes of the film. The film has won four Golden Calves.

One is a gay dentist who marries his lover, and the other is Simon (Cees Geel (nl)), a heterosexual, who suffers from cancer and has euthanasia by lethal injection applied.
Simon has a daughter Joy (Nadja Hüpscher) and a son Nelson (Stijn Koomen). They are adopted by the gay couple.
